We zijn getuige van een fundamentele verschuiving in de participatiepatronen. Tegenwoordig willen inwoners participeren op hun voorwaarden en via de kanalen van hun voorkeur. Zes jaar geleden richtten onze co-founders Wietse Van Ransbeeck en Aline Muylaert Go Vocal op. Als pas afgestudeerden stonden ze te popelen om zich in te zetten voor hun lokale community, maar ze botsten steeds op dezelfde hindernissen. Feedbackprocessen waren onduidelijk, de wachttijden lang, de regeltjes onlogisch en bureaucratisch, en de uiteindelijke input leek keer op keer in een zwart gat te verdwijnen.
